about

Diversity

As a Jesuit liberal arts institution, fostering and championing a diverse and inclusive community is an integral component of teaching, learning, and working at the College of the Holy Cross.

As articulated in our Mission Statement, “To participate in the life of Holy Cross is to accept an invitation to join in dialogue about basic human questions.” That exchange is enriched by our culture of discernment and our desire to always “ask more,” as well as the unique combination of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that each individual brings to our community.

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is a shared and ongoing responsibility that invites the participation of students, faculty members, staff, and alumni. Through dialogue and action, we learn from and with each other — and together we strengthen and sustain this vibrant and dynamic community.
