Immersion Programs

Each October, the Chaplain's Office offers a Fall Break Immersion to three local immersion opportunities for students.
The options include:
1) Rural Immersion in Ware, MA which has a focus on spirituality and environmental sustainability.
2) L'Arche in Haverhill, MA - Students live in community with intellectually disabled adults.
3) Worcester Immersion - For first-year students only, this experience allows students to experience Worcester from many perspectives.

Each year during Spring Break, hundreds of Holy Cross students travel throughout the United States to take part in community outreach projects.  This weeklong program which blends service, spirituality, and community has proven to be an essential part of the Holy Cross experience.  Students engage in volunteer work each day, while the evenings are dedicated to engaging members of the local community as well as group reflection and prayer.
