Accommodations on Campus
A limited number of double occupancy residence hall rooms are available on Thursday, May 22. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for $50. Please note that these rooms are not air-conditioned. Each room shares a common bathroom, has two single beds and is supplied with linens and towels. Reservation deadline for rooms is April 22. If you have reserved on-campus lodging, check-in begins on Thursday, May 22, in Hogan 109 at 11 a.m. and check-out by 8 p.m. on Friday, May 23.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Hart Center Basketball Arena and, due to limited seating, each senior is restricted to 4 tickets for guests. The tickets will be distributed to seniors through their campus post office boxes on the Wednesday prior to graduation.
Additional guests are invited to view the graduation on closed-circuit broadcast in the Hart Center hockey arena, and Seelos Theater (Kimball Hall, first floor). Tickets are not required for admission to the Hockey Arena or Seelos.
Live, Closed-Circuit Coverage
Live, closed-circuit coverage (video and audio) of Commencement from the Hart Center basketball arena will be available in the Hart Center hockey arena and Seelos Theater (Kimball Hall, first floor). Tickets are not required for admission to the Hockey Arena or Seelos.
Beginning two hours prior to Commencement, Holy Cross’ student-run radio station, WCHC 88.1-FM, will provide live traffic and weather information and then offer live audio coverage of Commencement. Listen live here.
Animals/Pets at Commencement
For the safety and comfort of the animals and our guests, it is important that pets be left at home. With the exception of service animals, pets of any kind are not allowed on campus or at Commencement. Please do not leave your pet in your vehicle.
