Edwin Coolbaugh

Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Residence Life and Housing

After receiving his B.S. in sports medicine and M.S. in human services from Keene State College, Dean Coolbaugh entered the residence life field full time. He has served as a Resident Assistant, Assistant Resident Director, Family Manager, Hall Director, Area Coordinator, and recently completed four years as an Assistant Dean of Students at the College of Saint Elizabeth, before coming to Holy Cross.

Dean Coolbaugh is an avid chef, a fervent marine reef aquarium enthusiast, a student of architecture, and loves sailing.




Cathleen Doane

Associate Director of Orientation and Residence Life


Office: Hogan 109


Cathleen is the Associate Director of Orientation and Residence Life. In this role she directs the three tier Gateways Orientation Program (summer, fall and extended orientation) and supervises the first year areas within Residence Life. She considers Holy Cross her home as she lives on campus in Figge Hall. She grew up in Wrentham, MA and is glad so much of her family lives nearby. Cathleen is a proud alumna of Bryant University in Rhode Island where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration. After Bryant, Cathleen earned a M. Ed in College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University in Virginia. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, going to the movies, and being outdoors.



Charles Stanley

Associate Director of Residence Life and Housing

Charles "Chuck" Stanley is the Associate Director of Residence Life & Housing and has worked full time in Higher Education since graduating from Roger Williams University with a B.S. in Social Science and Elementary Education in May of 2000. While working on his Masters of Education in Guidance Counseling from Providence College, Chuck has served as an Area Director, Assistant Director of Residence Life and Housing and an Assistant Director of Student Programs and Involvement.

Chuck enjoys volleyball, the outdoors, movies and meals with family and friends.

He currently lives in Alumni Hall and was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts; best known for its State Champion Volleyball team in 1996.




Andrea Cadyma

Associate Director of Residence Life and Housing 


Hogan 122

Andrea Cadyma is the Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life. Andrea completed her BA in English at Eastern Connecticut State University in December of 1997. While working on her Masters of Science in Organizational Management (2000) also from Eastern Connecticut State University; Andrea served as Hall Director and then Area Coordinator. Overall, Andrea has served as a Resident Assistant, Senior Resident Assistant, Hall Director/Resident Director, Area Coordinator, Coordinator of Cultural Awareness and Diversity, and Directors of Residence Life and Campus Housing and Conferences.

Andrea was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut and enjoys watching movies, outdoor walks and good food with family and friends.

Kaitlin Bevins


Residence Hall: Mulledy


Kaitlin is the CDC of Mulledy Hall. She joined the Holy Cross Residence Life & Housing staff in 2010 as the Graduate Assistant. While being the Graduate Assistant, Kaitlin attended Springfield College to receive her Master of Education in Student Personnel Administration. She is no stranger to Worcester because she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Assumption College in 2009. After graduation, Kaitlin spent a year serving the South side of Chicago with the Augustinian Volunteers. Kaitlin is originally from Northford, CT and proud to say Connecticut is her home state. In her free time, Kaitlin likes to laugh, meet new people and drink Boston Donuts coffee. You can often find her in Kimball because she loves dining with HC students.



Brian Regan


Residence Hall : Wheeler


Brian is the CDC of Wheeler Hall. Brian began working in the Office of Residence Life and Housing in 2012 as the Community Development Coordinator for Lehy Hall. Brian is a 2010 graduate of Holy Cross with a degree in Religious Studies and is thrilled to be back on the hill. Between stints at Holy Cross Brian received an M.T.S. in Systematic Theology from the University of Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame Brian worked as an Assistant Rector in an all male residence hall, was heavily involved in the retreat and RCIA programs in the Office of Campus Ministry, and was converted to football-fandom. 

Brian hails from Garden City, NY and is a proud graduate of another Jesuit institution, Regis High School in New York City. When not working, Brian enjoys reading, playing basketball, agonizing over the New York Mets, and keeping track of theology blogs and the news on his Twitter feed.


Marjorie Blicharz


Residence Hall : Hanselman 


Marjorie (Marjie) joined the Holy Cross community in 2013 as the Community Development Coordinator of Hanselman Hall. Marjie is originally from New Jersey, earning her B.A. in Sociology and Non-Profit Community Development from The College of New Jersey (2011). She earned her M.Ed in Counselor Education-Student Affairs from Clemson University (2013). Marjie’s Student Affair experiences include her position as a Graduate Community Director within Housing and Residence Life, and additional roles within the Diversity Education and Alcohol Education Offices while at Clemson. She also worked at Johns Hopkins University as the Association of College and University Housing Officers- International (ACUHO-I) intern within Summer Conferences.

Aside from working with her students, Marjie enjoys reading, visiting museums, staying up to date with popular culture, walking around the HC campus and spending time with her family and her friends.



Nate Thompson


Residence Hall: Clark 


A native of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Nathaniel became a Community Development Coordinator at Holy Cross in 2012. Prior to Holy Cross Nathaniel earned his B.A. in Business Administration (2010) and his M.A. in Public Administration (2012) from American International College. While at AIC, Nathaniel worked as a Resident Director, Campus Recreation Supervisor, and Graduate Assistant to the Office of Residence Life and Housing.

When he is not in the office Nathaniel enjoys traveling, working out and going to the movies. He is also an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and New York Knicks, and enjoys attending Holy Cross sporting events.



Leigh Wilson


Residence Hall: Lehy 


Leigh joined Holy Cross in 2013 as the Community Development Coordinator of Lehy Hall. Originally from Saranac Lake, New York ("the north country"), Leigh earned her B.A. in History from Oberlin College (2008). After spending two years in Boston working for City Year, an education-based AmeriCorps program, she went on to earn her M.A. in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University (2013). Leigh's professional experiences are wide ranging including residence life, leadership development, service-learning, training, orientation, outdoor education, and non-profits. Leigh also served as Resident Director of the Leadership Institute at Brown University through an Association of College and University Housing Officer internship.

Leigh loves the outdoors with canoeing, camping, and kayaking being her forte. Leigh is a former player and coach of rugby and soccer and is looking forward to getting involved in both sports in the Worcester area. Leigh also likes to spend quality time traveling, reading, and laughing with friends and family. 



Peter Kwiatek


Residence Hall : Loyola


Peter is the CDC of Loyola Hall. Peter joined Holy Cross in 2012 as the Community Development Coordinator of Clark and Loyola Hall. Prior to Holy Cross, Peter earned his B.A. in Psychology (2010) and his M.A. in Higher Education Administration (2012) from Boston College. Some of his experiences included working as a Graduate Resident Director for first-year students and Graduate Assistant for Off-Campus Student Life and Community Engagement. Peter also served as a summer intern with the Association of College and University Housing Officers at Penn State University.

Peter is originally from Reading, Massachusetts and enjoys supporting all the New England sports teams. His other interests include exploring Boston, dining out, and spending time with his family. 



Liliana Castro


Residence Hall: Healy 


Liliana (Lily) Castro joined the Holy Cross family in 2013 as the Community Development Coordinator of Healy Hall. Before coming to Holy Cross, Lily received her Bachelors in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Scranton (one of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States) in 2012 and her Masters from the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. During her time at Penn, Lily enjoyed her experiences of working with the student organizations leaders and peer mentors at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Nursing. Lily’s areas of interest include residence life, student activities/ programming, multicultural education, and crisis management.

Lily is originally from Newton, New Jersey and enjoys playing sports of all kinds. Lily also enjoys traveling, watching reality TV, laughing and being spontaneous, but her favorite guilty pleasure of all is shopping!




Susan Finne


Residence Life and Housing Administrative Assistant

Office: Hogan 122

Sue has been a member of the Residence Life and Housing team since 2007 when she came on board as the Administrative Assistant for the department. Sue comes from Millbury, MA, and is the proud mother of three grown sons as well as cat named Crissy. Sue stays fit with time at the gym, yoga, ice skating, basketball, softball, and walking, and enjoys all sports, especially Holy Cross Basketball and the New England Patriots. Sue has a special talent for delicious homemade foods and grows beautiful flowers. She is an avid reader, attends many concerts, plays, and shows, does the crossword every morning, and plays Jeopardy every night – and wins.
